The Network

Assist UK is the National network for advice on independent living equipment. Currently there are over 50 Member-Centre’s.   Assist UK is the only organization in the UK to connect clients, manufacturers, regulators and professionals.

Role

Assist UK promotes and supports the development of centre’s to meet national quality standards for product information and advice. In addition we provide a comprehensive range of services in support of members. These include Exhibitions, Conferences, Training, and Consultancy. Members receive advance notification, priority reservations and reduced prices. There is also a range of essential reading. See “Publications” for full details of titles and prices. Members also receive a discount.

Membership

Membership of the Assist UK network is open to voluntary and statutory organizations, individuals and the corporate sector. Contact us for further information.

Support

Assist UK is supported in its work by statutory and commercial organizations. A considerable part of that work is undertaken for the Departments of Health, Social Services and Employment Services.
