Okay men, so you've got the body you wanted, but are you a non-performer in the bedroom? If so then the answer is too much bodybuilding or exercise. We all know a healthy body needs exercise and a healthy diet. This in turn builds bones and muscles whilst reducing fat, controlling weight and increasing strength, energy, mood, sleep and libido. In fact a good-all-round exercise programme which includes cardiovascular training, strength and flexibility workouts done for up to an hour, 3-5 times per week, is an important part of a satisfactory sex life for both yourself and your partner.
The ups and downs of a man's sexual function are obvious, whilst a woman's libido is harder to measure. It can be below par due to fatigue, poor health, stress or a decline in hormones. Whether male or female regular exercise improves health and boosts natural hormones in both men and women, thereby improving a sense of well-being and the sex drive.
Remember, everything in moderation. Exercise is good, but more isn't necessarily better for you.
