Believe it or not exercise helps with PMS symptoms although no one is
really sure why. Apparently it seems to have something to do with a natural
body chemical called endorphin. This is the body's natural opiate. When
exercising, there is a release of endorphins creating a sense of well-being.
During the premenstrual phase the level of endorphins drops so exercising at
this time really helps. |
