Keep glowing through the Big Chill:

     Tread Gingerly

 

Ginger, which has been used for centuries as a medication, helps to settle upset stomachs, improve mobility and boost circulation.  Use it to make drinks, add it to stir-fries or add a small amount of grated ginger to s fruit salad.

 

 

       Pepping yourself up

 

Adding 5 drops of aromatic essential oil, such as black pepper, cardamom or cinnamon, to a base oil such as sweet almond, then massaging it all over once a day helps to soothe aches and stimulate circulation.

 

       Oregano on your soup

 

The herb Oregano has been proven to help fight bacteria.  It contains a substance called thymol which is used in may cough remedies to loosen phlegm and ease sore throats.

 

       Go oriental

 

Adding 5 drops of sandalwood essential oil to the bath is great for you.  Swirl, relax and enjoy.
