It appears that a cure for the common cold could be at hand in the form of the simple curry.
New research has shown that the hot spices in a curry will make you sweat, weep and get a runny nose. This in turn will flush out mucus from the nose and throat thereby giving you a good clear out.
Cardiff University's Common Cold Research Unit have also found that other ingredients such as onions and garlic as well as the spices in a curry have anti-bacterial properties that help fight cold germs.
