How it Works

Slendertone Flex users electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) technology that works the abdominal muscles by producing strong and deep, yet comfortable contractions.  This technology has been used by hospitals and physiotherapists for over 30 years and functions as follows:

Step 1 – Signals are sent between the pads on the Flex toning belt

Step 2 – The signals switch on the nerves that control the abdominal muscles

Step 3 – The nerves switch on the muscles.  The special 3-pad design makes sure that all of the abdominal muscles contract and not only those that lie under the pads
