Combining a sense of relaxation, stretching and balance to create a wonderful relationship between the body, mind and soul, Yoga is a beautiful way to exercise for your physical and mental health. If the prospect of dripping in sweat on a fitness machine is your idea of hell, then this could the perfect outlet for you.
Don’t be fooled though, Yoga can be used for quite gruelling feats of stretching and balancing that will get you sweating, but it lends itself to starting really gently and choosing to grow further with it should you choose too. It’s incredibly easy and cheap to start finding your Zen, an exercise mat, block, strap and some comfortable workout clothing is more than enough to get you started.
