About our Dumbbells
We’re delighted you’ve given us the opportunity to help you not only reach but eclipse whatever fitness goals you have in mind. We think the most incredible aspect of dumbbells is their versatility to adapt to your needs, any muscle, any goal, anywhere; they’ve got you covered.
We can fire off any goal and throwback an answer, but let’s get specific for a moment. A question could be ‘How do I tone up the front of my legs (quads)’. No sweat (well…), some split squats, lunges or front squats with a weight that takes between 10 – 15 reps will do the job nicely. On the end of the spectrum, ‘How do I develop muscle in my shoulders to look wider?’. Take your pick from shoulder presses, side/front/rear raises with a combination of heavier and lighter weights to keep your muscles guessing. We could go on with this, but you get the idea. Dumbbells can dot he job.
Another added (and crucial) benefit of using dumbbells is that they follow your body’s natural path of motion. What does this mean? Well, it gives your muscles the flexibility to be exercised how they like to be, as opposed to a multi gym that has a fixed path of motion. A sense of balance and symmetry comes into play too, as your arms and legs must work independently with each weight and contribute equal effort, whereas with a barbell one side can assist the other. Basically, you can't cheat, and you get an awesome workout as a result!
Dumbbells can come as either fixed or adjustable. There are benefits to both sides, fixed weights generally come in sets like 1-10kg and are the quickest way to increase or decrease the difficulty, they can, however, use a good chunk of space and expense. Adjustable’s are the contrary; they’re a little slower to change weights, but save a ton of space and are considerably more cost-effective.
Whether it’s for strength training, muscle building, toning or generally keeping in shape, dumbbells are quite possibly your most dependable, cost-effective solution for an all-in-one home gym. We’re determined to help you lead an active lifestyle in a way that’s convenient and sustainable for you.
